What does a building inspection report contain?
A standard building inspection report provides a detailed, room-by-room assessment of the property’s condition, based on a non-invasive visual. The report covers all accessible areas including the roof, interior, exterior, subfloor, and surrounding site structures. It identifies any minor or major defects, safety hazards, or maintenance issues—such as moisture readings, visible cracks, and faulty fittings. You’ll also receive a summary of findings, photos, and a conclusion comparing the property’s condition to others of a similar type and age.
